the all-american rejects - s/t emopop stuff, think get up kids/dashboard with more synths and at times a very slight hint of nerf herder (without the nerdiness of course). basically this is hooky, inoffensive pop-rock by 2 guys from oklahoma. its pretty hard to resist, especially when they come up with tracks like 'swing, swing' and 'one more sad song' full of sugarcoated melody and the appropriate heartfelt lyrics. there's also some more pop-punkish tracks like 'drive away' and 'happy endings' to keep fans of the ataris and alike happy. this is one for all the family... |
