So who are these guys?
Christie Front Drive is a now defunct band who came out of Denver in the early 90’s.

Why should I be bothered about them?
Well they were a ground breaking emo band influencing a whole range of emo bands of today. They are also cited as one of Jimmy Eat World's favourites.

So who was in the band?
Eric Richter - vocals, guitar Jason Begin - guitar, vocals Kerry McDonald - bass, vocals Ron Marschall - percussion.

What’s a good album for me to check out?
Well unfortunately, many of CFD’s recordings are out of print, however their first record ‘Anthology’ has been re-released and it’s still possible to pick up some of their e.p’s and splits.

So what happened to them?
Eric is in a new band called ‘The 101’ complete with an e.p that came out last year. Kerry released an album under the name ‘The Mighty Rime’ that came out in 2002.
As for the other two I’m not sure, they had a band for a little while called ‘The Blue Ontario’ who put out an EP. But other than that it’s unclear.
